how comfortable is the interior of an s2k?
i was wondering how comfortable the inside of an s2000 is? i havent had a chance to drive one yet but i am about 5'10. you think there is enough leg room to be comfortable as a daily driver?
Yea, im 5' 10'' and I fit fine.
Passenger is alittle tight though, narrow leg room, but whos complaining, i'm not on that side!
And controls are great, volume controls, air controls, its all good.

i fit fine. I hated the stock seats for not enough hold-age but thats it.

you taller ppl should look into modifying the stock seat pan do drop the stock seat a bit lower. theres some good DIY links on s2ki.
as for me, 5'8" and 34" waist, stock seats are great. i just got newer stock seats, i realized how matted down my old seats were. previous owner was a bigger guy. new ones feel much better and tighter around me.
i also find the controls perfect (other than the quirky radio controls, big button to change AM/FM?!@) it was all part of the design philosphy to center the cars control around the driver alone. actually every passenger has noted its too boring from their side since theres nothing to see.

i personally hate the stock seats... granted i was in a Bride for over a year before i got the S....
i threw my Bride Ergo in the min i got the car... then got a offer i couldnt refuse so threw the stock seat back in and man i have not been happy since...
but for most it will do.....

its better than any other stock seat ive been in. only thing that comes close is STi seats.
i enjoyed my momo start/rookie seat in my crx. didnt mind it so much either as a daily driver after i stopped racing. it was surprisingly comfortable after 5 hour drives up and down I5. but without a purpose built race car (along with harness and rollcage), it didnt belong in the car.
the stock s seat is the closest ive felt since.
actually i take that back, M3 seats are pretty damn good too.
oh yeah, on the subject of "rice" (yay!), i consider 1 piece bucket seats in a street car that doesnt have AT LEAST a full harness (yet alone a rollbar) pretty useless. i shudder when i see ppl drape stock 3pt seats over the high side bolsters. its just not safe... and the seat works with the harness (and rollbar) as a SYSTEM to hold you in tight. sticking an unharnessed, high bolstered seat in a car is worse than a big rear wing imo.

not really.... i see your point and it is justified..... however you can have a better "driving" feel with a good seat compared so some...

"useless" was the wrong word.
point is that a 1 piece bucket seat needs a harness. and a harness needs to be hard bolted, preferably a good rollbar or cage.
and a 1 piece bucket seat relying on a stock 3 pt system (and an explosive airbag) is stupid and unsafe.
but hey, thats just an opinion.

I'm 6'3" 195 and its a perfect fit. Like others have stated, stoplights are not in plain view, but its a very small price to pay for best damn sports car you can get for 30k. Also I've owned an 04 and i now have an 06. I feel that the seats in the 06 are MUCH better than the 04/05 seats. My back used to hurt in the old ones but not once has it in the new one. And the leather is a different material, it holds much better too. Even at Willowsprings I didn't even feel that I NEEDED a bucket... All stock, All good
btw, here are some of those seat mod threads for tall folk.

just my findings too. 3 track days this year and no complaints about seats.

all you have to do is go to a honda stealership near you and sit inside one yourself and find out. it's simple.
