Default Painted Alternator

I painted my GSR alternator and I didnt mask in the vents, so the spray hit the wound coils, is that bad? I wanted it to look new again so I restored it with a temp aluminum paint, it looks great. Im worried that painting the coils may affect the charging ability?

It shouldn't effect it in anyway that i can see. All the business is done on the inside of the coil of wire.

It wouldnt see it any different than having an old alternator covered in dirt/grime.
