Front Tower Bar Needed.....!!!!!

Default Front Tower Bar Needed.....!!!!!

I'm looking for a front tower bar for my 97 4 doors civic. However, I'm having a D16Y7 engine, which the intake air-box is located on the upper part of the engine bay....and it caused me trouble to install a regular striaght-type tower bar.....But I can't use this type...



I have to use something like this:


Have to use the one can route in front of the intake air-box....does anyone know where I can find this???

You can throw a Y8 intake manifold on there and use any bar you want.

the top bar you pictured is for your rear,

however replacing with a aftermarket intake should work in most cases,
or you could look at dcsports upper strutbars, from here

My buddy has a '96 DX coupe with a homemade turbo kit and he also has an OEM '99-'00 Si strut bar.

I'll say get an aftermarket intake and you'll be set!

But the point is....I dont' want to change the Intake....actually, I have an AEM short ram...but after I changed it, the acceleration sucks so bad...so I reaplce the OEM back in.....

I mean the low rpm acceleration become so slow after I use the after market intake....the high-end is good..but lose too much low-end.... that's why I put my OEM back in....

Any idea to get the Tower Bar that I want??
