siblues, thanks for the help but that will be too long and too large. I want a 2.5"to a 3". Preferably as short as possible, very similar to the picture I posted above.

Thats pretty close to what I am looking for, except I want something in mild steel not stainless, thanks for the help though.

Burns makes some really nice reducers in any size and length you want.

Dang I totally missed that, its stainless though, so no go for me, must be carbon steel.
