Default New Turbo Project, 1995 Honda Del sol, looking for 12.4999999!!!

hey, i am about to commence on my next project. my 1995 Honda del sol VTEC. came from factory with a b16 and im gonna keep that. anyway my goal is 12.499 because my friend just got an 04 STi and says after he gets this Cobb access port is 1/4 will be 12.5 and well lets just say we have a little rivalry going . I want this to be on street tires but not drag radials. I want a tire that will handle well and give me traction, so i think im gonna go with Falken Azenis. My plan was this -T3/T4 at 15psi. Cp Pistons/Eagle Rods. Peakboost manifold. 3"exhaust, Crome, Intake mani, 68mm tb. Launching at 7psi and switching to 15 psi in third. Traction bars. whaddya think will this yield me a 12.499? (i know this is kinda a dumb post but its my way of introducing my next project.)

Well... I think the determining factor is traction. I don't know about hitting your goal with street tire, but with DRs it should be easily doable.

your gonna need drag radials if you plan on hitting your goal on a stock engine.

and if he says anything about the drag radials tell him to kiss your buttocks.

you can run 15psi in all gears. Just get a good set of drag radials, you wont hit that time on all seasons.. lol.

You dont need a aftermarket intake manifold or TB. Stock is fine. Spend the cash elsewhere on the setup.

You have alot of work to do.

Umm, Traction is your number one problem for front wheel drive...... and its turbo too.. Sucks..

If your gonna build your bottom might as well do the head... Dont waste money on tb and intake maifold...

Slicks or Drag radial Ftw
