ZC to D tranny

Default ZC to D tranny

Will a ZC engine but up to a D tranny without mods and still use stock mounts. What about a whole ZC swap what do I need. Thanks guys

An '88 or later ZC engine will bolt right up to any '88-00 D-series transmission. Keep in mind that all ZC engines are D-series.

That depends on which ZC you are intending to swap (there are several different engines that were stamped "ZC"), and which car you are swapping it into. You neglected to include that pertinent information . . .

the trannys will bolt up fine but you have to remember the axles size is bigger on the ZC then any other D-Series

It won't matter if he is not using a ZC differential and intermediate shaft.

I have a ZC in my 93, and it bolted up fine. SOHC.
