Default Unorthodox Underdrive Pulley Set

I am thinking to get a Unorthodox Underdrive Pulley set. If i am going to install this pulley set, do i use OEM belts, or do i need to get different belts that are for this Underdrive pulley set?

thx in advance

It says what you need on the unorthodox website, at least it used to.

Save your money. I have the full pulley set and all it did was make my lights dim . Seriously, there are better things you could get for the R.

What other things do u suggest me getting. I want to make approx 200WHP or more without touching the bottom end. i want to get the most out of the engine. i know the pulley is only going to give me maybe 2WHP. I dun care if my light will dim, i mostly go to track day for fun w/ my car. If there are better things i could do i would do it instead of the pulley.</TD></TR></TABLE>

200 WHP with stock internals is completely possible. It starts with good quality mods. FWIW I hit 192 WHP with just intake, header, exhaust, IM gasket. So 200 is definitely do-able.

different belts. I recommend just doin the crank pulley. The other 2 make no additional power. Remove your AC if you are mainly using the car as a track car.

Comptech Icebox, taper-bored OEM TB, IB intake manifold, Outlaw TB/IM spacer kit, UR puley kit, Toda header, T1R testpipe and catback, cam gears, Hondata s200 tuned. I made 196whp on bone stock internals.

Take out your a/c and power steering, get a good I/H/E set up, get it tuned and you'll be close to your goal

It's amazing how much better quality parts there are now than when goodies were put on my car. The header is still a dc-sport LS header 'cause there wasn't one for the R at the time....btw - '98 still rox, even if it's only 178 hp.

And also Apex'i Power FC.

My car is not tunned yet. I know tunning is everything. Just because i have a Power FC, I want to put all my mods in b4 tunning, to squeeze every bit of power on stock bottom end, because tunning power FC is expensive. I asked 2 dyno shops which have the software for tunning power FC, they quote me 800-900 bucks for fully tune. So i will only want to get it tune once.</TD></TR></TABLE>

Well ****, if you're that far along then it may be beneficial to get the pulley set. The crank pulley does not have a harmonic balancer and some have said that it could cause worn bearings, crankshaft, etc. Mine have been on for well over two years and I haven't had any problems though.
