You could try laying out a blanket on your roof and bungy strap that **** in lol

I always wondered what I'd do if I was going to pick up a hood in my car

Depends how far. If it was less than 40 miles just leave the hood off. Install when you get there.

I see a lot of ricers doing it. Won't hurt anything as long as it's not raining, and even then, long as rain isn't too heavy it'd be fine.

I see the no hood thing all the time, but they ricers and are not getting ready to but a new hood one. I would do it if I didnt have a truck, but I took care of that problem last year.

Just drive there with no hood. Shouldnt be a problem, and if you get pulled over just tell them you are driving to get your new hood.

Strap it to your roof if its still in the box. Or install it on the spot.

The only problem with driving with the hood off it the distributor cap. That is the only thing you need to make sure doesn't get wet.

Just remove your old hood and drive hoodless there and put the new hood on when you pick it up.
