any CEL, how has it been running before? what type of problems before? what year car? what motor? it can be anything from fuel, spark, vaccum(since you're turbo). we need more here.
I dont really think the setup matters really....The car starts up fine from a cold start....this only happens after i go to the gas station and do a startup there. When the h22 was na i had the same problem.
Ive tried putting the key in the on postion a couple times before starting the car..and it didnt help
I dont get any cels, the setup is
2000 ex
h22a od1
1000cc injectors
t3/t4 borgw warner
255 walbro pump
etc...

i use to have the same problems... it might be your main relay... if it is hot outside and you drive for a bit, turning off the car and turning it back on will not sometimes start.
what i do is just leave the engine on, ebrake up and fill up gas. dont be scared... you wont blow up the gas station... been doing this for 4 months now.

the thing that gets me is he says it only happens when he shuts it off at the gas station. Can you drive somewhere, shut it off and start it back up? I'd try draining the gas tank. Otherwise, invest in a fuel pressure gauge, and have someone watch it next time you go to the gas station.
