Default i wanto ditch it..

How do I take out the cruis control outa my teg. I have 97 ls and want to use the spot for a oil guage. what do I need to do to take the hole thing out.
i did a search and couldn't find it..
all I got was more questions. no answers. any help would be great

unbolt everything in the bay, unhook the cable on the gas pedal and your done.

The button pops out, try to pry a small screw driver in there and it'll come out.

Under the hood, all you have to do is remove the cruise control unit, unplug it, take the cable off of your throttle body and from behind your gas pedal, then you're all done.
