Default removing cruise control

i want to remove my cruise control cause i don't use it and it doesn't work. how do i remove the cable attached to the throttle? i cant see where to disconnect it

just go under there and figure it out its not hard ive done it its easy

i took mine out my 2000 em1 if u look at ur trottle body and the cable u know how u had to wrap it around to put it in well jsut wiggle a little on the cable on the peddle and ull fnid a slot in the medal and it will pop right out

a little effort is what you need...just look behind your accelerator and find the cable that attaches on the rear then follow that to your engine bay.

On my car car it looks as if there is a liitle cotter pin that holds it together I'm having trouble getting it out.
