I have 2 camshafts crower civic type r duplicates and crower stage 3 cams what cam is the best for a supercharged Gsr running 11.5:1 cpr and about at 7 psi?
help......

 

GSR or CTR/ITR camsseem to work best for me. I've tried some bigger N/A cams, but my SC'd motor doesn't seem to like the extra duration. I also dial out about 4-5 degrees of overlap on OEM gears for the best results.

 

**** really, do you think big cams would cause a loss of power then? Could i make decent numbers with stage 3 cams? or no

 

I gained power going from Blox HSL cams to a $75 set of stock GSR cams. SC people have been trying different setups for years, and the best seems to be GSR intake and ITR/CTR exhaust. Crower makes a set of boost cams that has about the duration of the GSR/ITR combo, but they have more lift. I'll be using those when my SC motor goes back together.

 

i wana say we picked up around 20hp by going to the gsr cams from teh blox hsl cams.
