Today I removed my JDM ITR steering wheel to install a MUGEN stering wheel w/ quick release. I noticed that my SRS light came on when I started up the car. My question is there any way to get that SRS light to turn off? I was thinking just off the top of my head and maybe doing one of two things. First idea was to just put a jumper wire connecting both SRS wires together or instaling a resistor in series to add a load to the circuit. Now I haven't looked at the manual just yet, so don't grill me to hard. If anyone can help please do so. If not I'll go home tonight and look at my manual.

Mugen wheel has no airbag, SRS is the airbag light.....hmmmm...... this is a tough one, now why would that light be on? ? ?


Remove your gauge cluster, behind it there's a few different plugs, you'll see a green one a yellow one, and most likely two gray ones or even a blue one. Unplug the yellow one and leave it chillin back there. Install gauge cluster and start the car, then poof, SRS light is gone.

 

What happened to all the other replies? I'm only seeing one now????????
