Default help! I think osaka stuck me! the new engine ID code has been grinded off! H23vtec or F20b?

I have had a terrible expierience with this johnny at osoka motors and i think he is pushing a beat up f20b on me when i was wanting a h23avtec for my 94 lude. This motor showed up with the engine code grinded off the block! my lude is sickly with the f22a1 in it now. i have spotted alot of p13's stamped on some areas and maybe a p3s? by my cams. any help or recomendations? I plan on using my low geared 5 speed from my f22 motor, obd 1 to obd2 conversion kit(id love a hint on a good deal) stock computer? should i hook up with some tougher engine mounts?

p13 is the number you are needing to stamped in the head and on the dist. the problem is that only identifies the head, the block is a different story cosidering the only thing that can be traced is engine code.

well p13 means its a h22 head, so it probably is a h23 with h22 head right?

Pics of the grinding on the block?

And when are people going to learn not to buy from Osaka?

Christ people. Pull a spark plugout, get a long screw driver, drop it down the plug hole. Turn the engine to top dead center. Mark the screw driver shank. Rotate the engine over to bottom dead center. Make another mark. Get your handy-dandy grade school ruler and see if it is 95mm stroke or 88 mm stroke. If it is 88 then you have an F20B if it is 95 it is H23A.

The F20B head stamp is PCB
The H23A head stamp is PDE (like in Precord96's thread)

I will be taking lots of pics! It is somewhat damaged too! The oil pan is dented badly, the crank pully and the a/c pump pulley are both chipped. some broken sensors! $1700 for the engine only used to sound good! 7 weeks later after th first wrong motor showed up (black top 160hp h23 NON vtec), it doesnt sound so good. OOOOHHHH my aching ***!!!

Thanks for the pic hook up. I have seen some DIFFS already. My intake looks identical to a stock h22. And this distributer in these pics has an 8 wire + 2 wire set up (like my lil f22 distributer hook up) but the engine with grinded #'s has an 8 wire hook up only.

Osaka is shady as ***** if they are grinding down serials and engine codes.. that spells loss of import license for sure if you talk to the right people in customs.. That and fraud is generally looked down upon by the government when it comes down to business pratices. I would contact BBB, file a report asap. Dont take any **** like this, throw it back in heaps and make the ****** pay for his shady pratices.

HMO 4 me thank you.

Wrong. JDM Accord wagon SiR. Anyway, I would not be surprised if this is another F20B from Osaka

Osaka is in canada so I do not know what you can do to them. The h23a euro vtec 220 hp engine was in the accord euro r and has a BLUE top. So if you do not have the blue top then you are SOL...
