RSX vs RSX Type S differences?
I'm sure this has been covered, but is there someplace that breaks down the exact differences between the two cars? I know the engine is different, but I was looking for other mechanicals, such as swaybar size, stock spring rate & shock valving, car weights, etc.
Considering trading my GF's 99 Civic EX for a base RSX cloth 5-speed. For her, I don't think the $3K Type-S premium is worth the upgrade. Plus, the stock RSX falls into a better autox class

Gives a decent technical rundown.

I drove the base and the type S. She would never know the difference between the two, and the base seems to pull a little better in lower gears. Plus, 3K is a good chunk of change.
The base would probably make a better autoxer too
But if I were buying, I'd get the S. I'm not, so it's whatever she likes and can afford. The tech. specs, besides the motor, are pretty much identical between the two.
