Default REV limiter...fuel cuts off at 7500rpm

I have a b16a pr3 in a crx w/ bolt ons... My rev limiter is kicking in at 7500rpm... it just started doing this yesterday, there where no mods done within the last couple of months.
I checked the ecu, no codes... theres no CEL. Im pretty sure its not a fuel problem. I think it has something to do with my ignition...
Has anybody had this problem?

Really? i just finished my buddies swap the other day. 88 CRX DX with J Spec B16 and his car revs up to 8,000rpm for 1st and 2nd gear then in 3rd it cuts off at like 7400-7500rpm. He's also running the PR3 ECU. That's really weird huh!

Man get rid of the rev limiter. you can either get a piggyback computer such as Skunk2 wich will run you about 500 or more or just get a vafc wich will run about 300 or more either way you get more power all around.

It's not like it really matters tho, with stock cams the power drop off begins right there so who cares about the power. I just need it to rev to the stock limiter so that we can shift a couple hundred rpm before the limiter! Thanks for the ideas tho.

its just cheaper to rechip the ecu to either stock program or Spoon or Mugen specs

why would it rev all the way up 1st and 2nd then? Also it's not throwing a automatic transaxle lockup code for being a auto ECU. Sometimes it even revs up all the way in 3rd it's just sometimes. Anyone know why it would take the motor so long to warm up either. It takes him like 10 mins before his VTEC will engage.. Oh well thanks for the help.
