weird vibration (not a noob cannon vibration question)
I have a weird vibration between 2000 rpm and 4500 rpm in 1st 2nd and sometimes 3rd gear at about 25-40% throttle on a 92 eg with a b16a...
the vibration does not come through the steering wheel usually but it does at the worst, it usually just shakes the car its self..
it is not a bad vibration per say, and it is there some times and not other times at verrying degrees of bad-ness...
the vibration is not present in 4th or 5th gear
the car has avid mounts, hybrid axels with new integra halfshafts
does anyone know what it could be?

no, I specifically checked to makesure it wasnt a salvage or an accident..its clean.
it almost feels like theres somthign stuck to a driveshaft causing it to be off balance at times or somthing..
is that even possible?
I should of also added that this vibration has just appeared about 100 km ago, and wasnt there before.

ya im kind of worried about that, it has a bully stage 1 clutch and a findanza flywheel kind of worried the guy who put it in might of done it wrong, but i dont see how you can even do that its a pretty simple task.
im leaning towards an inner cv joint problem does anyone have experiance with that?

The motor mounts you have are stiff, they can shake your car and make things viberate.
Are you saying its something in the interior? or in/aroudn the engine bay?

i had a similar vib. when i torn the driver side motor mount.
The one near the timing belt.
With the bad mount i was able to move the engine back and forth by hand.
Not so with the new mount.
Good luck.
