so to be more specific, i got a D16y7 on a 96 ek, and im swpaing out the oem tranny for a B7 tranny off of a 95 civic EG. and i will not have any problems whatsoever? no modifications? no wire harness?

sorry about the lack of knowledge, im quite new to the honda scene...

but since the question is already up in the air,

Is it true that the only tranny that wont bolt up to my car is a tranny off a ZC motor?

please educate me

thanks boyys

I don't know about the ZC stuff, but it it's a D series you'll have no problem.

That tranny will bolt right up btw.

Throw away the D15b7 trans & buy a D16y8 trans from a 99-00 Civic EX sohc vtec. Smooth and very responsive plus they come at a good price.
