Car Died While Driving (Checked Spark, Fuel, and Timing) HELP!!!!!
I have searched and read everywhere about what to do i have spark and fuel and the timing belt still looks good with the gears in the right spot... What else could it be... im thinking not the main relaycause then everything else would not have worked,, also its not the Ecu cause i put it in my friends car and it ran like a champ...
when i turn the key it does crank (excuse the use of internet sound effects) its like
cha cha cha cha chaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa cha cha cha cha cha cha cha cha chaaaaaaaaaaaa and it shakes for a second like its about to start and it sounds like my exhaust is puffing a bit but it does not start.... also yes i can hear the fuel pump prime and i have checked fuses... ANY IDEAS????

same exact thing is happening to my buddies crx outside my house as we speak... can you fuel pump be dead and still kick over?

are you sure your getting fuel?? i mean check to see if your getting fuel into your fuel rail but take that 17mm off the fuel filter and turn on the key see if fuel sprays out.. if it does check your injectors.. you say your getting spark are you sure??? cause like acouple of years back this happen to me my car just cut off while driving it ended up being i expletive'd my dissy up..

Unbolting the banjo bolt from the fuel filter can tell you if you have a problem with your PGM FI relay if theres no fuel coming out of it. You also got to see if you have spark. Honda/Acura two most notorious no start is a bad PGM FI relay and igniter in your dizzy. Pull your spark plug wire and hold it close to any chassy/motor ground and see if you have a spark. that will help you isolate where your problem is, either your primary and secondary ignition.

Check the rotor under the distributor cap.... classic honda problem.
the screw falls out, the rotor free spins. You get stumbles and pops but it won't run obviously.
