Alright, so you know how most new cars like the new acuras have those hydralic or how ever you spell it pumps to open and hold the hood up. Well my brother works for a company and got me two of them, and i was wondering if anyone has put them on my civic's hood or wherever??? i have a ej8 so whatever helps, looking for measurements, how big yours are, how much travel, where to install?

you mean like the set that TEIN makes?
dampers or shocks, never heard them called hydraulic pumps before.

 

The tein ones get really squeky I'd dont know if you will have the same problem though. But it defiantly has been done before.
