detatchable steering wheel question

Default detatchable steering wheel question

I am looking to get a detatchable steering wheel, I was wondering what I am going to need besides the wheel and hub. Can anyone hook me up with a link on where i can purchase a complete set up..

if you want a detachable wheel you'll need a quick release. so in all youll need the hub, quick release, and the wheel. check out our sponsors market place forum. everyone now days is selling NRG brand hub/quick releases. you can also find some wheels in there as well. but remember you arent just limited to the NRG brand.

nrg is overpriced

here's what I have, excellent price for the great quality

nope, because that hub is shorter than the momo hub, I should know I have it, i can still reach the turn signal stalk without taking my hand off the wheel

how much does a setup usually cost?

are all the steering wheels smaller sized? im guessing it woudl make non power steering cars even harder to drive

yea...you pay for quality

i have a NRG quick release and there is absolutley no way i would ever allow ANY free play in my steering wheel. you may not have it yet, but you might soon.

you can go with onmi, but the steering wheel will be close to you. i believe they made a new short hub from onmi or nrg,

yeah, you pay for quality, and you overpay for a name...nrg isn't some big time brand, look at their other parts...me and a friend both bought the same hubs and quick releases because we were so amazed at how nice they were constructed, he had his before I had mine, and his experience made me want the same thing...I don't have any play either, I've had the wheel on there for 2 months now
