HG question
Where does the oil flow in a B16's headgasket? I got gunk all over the part of the block right behind the header and im wondering what it is. Thanks
I also have this hesitation/bogging issue. Only when the car has been left a couple hours after getting to temp, then turned off will it run and sputter. What is the problem here? New cap, rotor, plugs, 20k on wires. Could it be that im running 87 and not 91 octane gas?
Thank you so much for any input!

Well the lower left hole is a return hole for the oil for sure, it usually leaks and lets oil run down the block behind the header and all over the engine identification stamping. The hole at the upper middle in the picture is the oil jet for oil supply to the head, remember to either replace the small o-ring or make sure its in good shape when/if you do the head gasket becuase leaving this out or negleting it could possibly starve the top end of oil.
