Overheated, now oil in #3 cylinder spark plug
Hi,
F22B2 engine, top coolant hose sprung a leak and overheated. Car was driven a few miles before temp gauge was noticed. Issue now is, the spark plug wire for #3 cylinder popped out and is full of oil. Is this a sign of a cracked block? Blown head gasket? (which I doubt since there isn't white smoke coming out of the exhaust) Speculations/help on where to look first for damage would be greatly appreciated.

take out the spark plug and crank the motor. if it isn't knocking then clean off plug and reinstall wire. if car starts up fine thne replace valve cover gasket with rubber o-rings. it you go to check the sparkplus and it is missing then you need a new head. if you go to change the gaskets and nitice a crack in the head then replace.
did you notice that the car was running on three cylinders before you realized it was overheating? if so then you might have toasted it but check it out. those f motors are pretty tuff

I believe it was running fine while it was overheating. After I refilled the coolant and started it back up is when I noticed it was running on 3 cylinders and that the #3 cylinder spark plug wire had popped out and it wouldn't go back in since it was filled with oil. Anyways, back up for any other ideas/suggestions.
I would remove the plug(oil will go into the cylinders)inspect the tip of the plug(any damange)then reinstall it and start the car(it will smoke and studder alittle while the oil burns out of the cylinder). after 3 min. if the car runs fine and doesn't overheat then you should be good. if you cant find the spark plug because it flew out of the cylinder while you were driving then you are screwed. get a new head or engine
