Is there a reasoning behind wanting titanium?

Most valves I know of are made out of inconel.

Inconel is a much stronger and lighter material, that can also be forged with other types of stainless, so you can have a 2 pieced valve, some even are sodium filled, such as the ones in the type r or the Z06 corvette.

I figured that was what you were after. I do believe omni makes valves for the LS.

Also are you sure the guy said valves, because they do make springs and retainers out of Ti.
