Default VAFC apexi?

how hard is it to hook up one of these? is there a lot involved in tuning this to perfection? need some info on this before I move forward, thanks.

if, hypothetically speaking, your VTEC did not work 'cause you have a VSS code,

can the VAFC over ride this and get VTEC going?

t..

PS is there any other way to trick the ecu that it 'can' go into VTEC?

They are not hard to wire up if you can follow directions and feel confident doing it. If not, leave it up to someone who has installed one or is good with auto wiring. You will be tapping into sensors and that could be a disaster if you hook up a wrong ground, go to the wrong pinout, etc.
The tuning is probably more involved than the install in my opinion. I wouldn't play around too much with it unless you have it on a dyno and see the results of the changes and whether or not they are working for or against you.
