It depends... is your del sol tranny a B(DOHC) or D(SOHC)

Well I was told that if the block on the Honda Del Sol was a B18 series it would work.. I don't have a Del Sol, I have a '93 Acura integra 1.8 DOHC with a cable tranny with hydro conversion, this LS tranny went bad.. I will go tomorrow to check out a Honda Del Sol at a Junk Jard I saw with a Hydro tranny, If the block says B18 I guess I'll take my chances and buy it.. what you guys think???

You were lied to. No Del Sol has a b18. They either have D16Z6's or B16A3's. If you already have a hydro conversion, and the del sol it's out of is a Del Sol VTEC (b16a3), then yes, it'll work.

Those and D15's
Either way, there was no sol's produced USDM (and as far as I know anyway) that had a B18 engine in them. You CANNOT put a del sol tranny on your block at all - as far as I know there's not even an adapter plate for a B engine to a D tranny. Gogo 100% custom work, might as well ******* make your tranny from scratch.
My advice: Find a B series motor, 99-00 si motor, del sol si VTEC (some models) (B16a), B18B (LS), B18C (GSR), B18C (ITR), B16B (CTR), so on and so forth. As far as I know, unless you go 100% custom, there's no way to put a del sol tranny on a b18 block. Go find a B tranny. No delsols came with a D tranny. Plus, if the del sol happens to be a B16 del sol, you're going to get *** fucked in mpg because you're going to be used to your older tranny...which is long...and then the B16 tranny is short as ****...so it'll fit..and you're gonna get pwned on the highway :-P
Find a B18 tranny.
EDIT:
If the block syas B18 then it's a LS swap and the tranny will fit. So unless you're looking at a swapped out del sol (non-original engine), you'll only get lucky with a B16 engine..in which case you'll get *** fucked in mpg
Find an integra, any 94+ will fit 100%. Even a <93 will work with a cable conversion but you already know that, so basically any integra tranny will work O.o.
