inboard cv joint inter-change-ablity
Hi
As i live in the United Kindom and don't have many driveshaft/cv joint manufactors that make good long lasting joints for a good price i'm looking to see if any of the other honda cars cv fit.
My car is a UKDM 1991 CRX vt with a B20 running on a Y1 tranny.
The stock vt inboard cv joints become worn and slack after a very short time, which i think is due to the extra output from the engine.
I had the idea that maybe the DC2 with the B18C5 or EK civic with the B18C4 inboard cv joints might fit the CRX's Y1 tranny.
All you input would be very valuable to my problem.
Thanks
Dave

replace the whole axel
there is no reason to go to the trouble of pulling the axel to remove one joint and put it back in.
The other joint is just as worn so buy the whole axel and put it in.

Your not getting me.
It's not as easy as just changing the hole axel as i can only get ether a new stock axel or pay loads for someone to make me a set from scratch.
