yea, you don't want to be in a rush and then all of a sudden realize that your carpet is wet and you have no fluid left in the reservoir

Yeah, because the seals around the piston are not sealing like they should, and it is causing a "blow-by" leaking effect.

That is his CLUTCH, not brakes. Maybe you were just comparing.

I'd do a search first, seen a lot of them fail suddenly and unexpetedly brand new from many users on this board. Not their only product to do so either though

First off i want to sorry to all the people that bought the master cylinder and had a failure. here is the situation
the seal material that we originally used was only compatible with a few types of dot 3 fluid. by dumb luck when we did testing we used one of the few dot 3's that was compatible. the failures were a result of the seal swelling up and seizing itslef in the bore.
we have the problem resolved........... we now use the same seal material as OEM honda . the new seals will perform flawlessly and also have much less friction than the original one we used.
we are sorry that some of you had to wait, but it took some time to make sure everything was correct and functioning properly. as well as testing in multiple situtations , conditions and various clutch types.
the new seals are compatiable with all dot 3,4,5 brake fluids. it is however recomended not to mix brake fluids. we have tested the seals in nearly every brake fluid comercially availible with 100% success.
replacements for those if you who boguht them and had them go bad will be shipping out on the 11th of october 2005. for anyone who has purchased one and was lucky enough to use one of the few brake fluids that was compatible please send in the master cylinder so we can update the seals for you. we will pay the shipping both ways.
if anyone wants to cut and paste this in other threads relating to this matter please feel free to.
I will say this one more time............. the quicklutch master cylinder has all the problems fixed and will provide trouble free operation for anyone wishing to purchase one. they will be availible for shipping anytime after october 11th 2005.
thanks for your patience

Pardon my ignorance, but I never knew why folks got the Omni. IIRC, for around $55 with the discount the OEM one is fine.
Does the Omni make it easier for the clutch to handle more pressure for aftermarket clutch setups or something?

It has a larger piston diameter, which moves fluid faster. It basically shortens the pedal travel by about 1/2, which leads to faster shifts. I was skeptical when I first picked mine up, but since I've installed it, I don't think I could go back to stock.
