Question about owning an R...
Has anyone ever caught anyone mid stealing their car and then gotten hurt like shot at or something beaten up I've been thinking of buying an R a whole lot lately and that thought just crossed my mind thanks
couple years back (not an ITR though) a HT member was selling his MR RS Integra that had many many ITR and aftermarket parts and some dude came over acting like a buyer , test drove the car with him and then pulled over and start shocking the owner of the Integra with a stun gun. I forgot his name but he is one of the NWP guys.

I just bought a R about 3 weeks ago. I also have a concealled weapons license and carry a gun 99% of the time. Ill make sure to post about any experience i ever have if i make it out alive. I def wouldnt shoot any1 over a material object it would pwn me in the court of law.
Here is the story of Andys car jacking attempt....
My brush with death (carjacking story)....
I've had to tell this story atleast 100 times, so from now on, I'm referring everyone to this

As some of you may or may not know, Andy Freeman aka NWP4LIFE has his 96 RS up for sale. Well tonight on a test drive with a potential buyer his car was taken by force.
story....
(Aprox 9:45pm) Andy and myself meet up at In-n-out in the Tustin Market Place. This guy Juan was there to check out his car. He saw it for sale on the Internet and wanted to get a closer look. After about 15-20 min of him looking at everything he asked for a test drive. At this time him and Andy got in the car (Juan driving), and I took off to go home.
(from what Andy told me) They circled around the market place once. Juan was having a hard time with the six puck so they were on there way back to In-n-out.
(Aprox 10:02pm) At the corner of Tustin Ranch Rd and El camino, Juan all of the sudden said "look at that" Andy turned, and before he knew it had a tazer gun in his neck. He was tazered a few times before he had a chance to throw some punches. He punched Juan in the head repeatedly until he thought he had him under control. He then lunged for the keys to turn the car off. He got the car off, but was unable to pull the keys out. As this was happening Juan continued tazering him in the legs chest and face. After taking as much abuse as he could, Andy got out of the car and Juan was off. Andy could see him get on the 5fwy north.
First thing Andy did was call 911. All the squad cars in the area were dispatched. The car was last seen heading northbound on the 5fwy. Next he called me. I hadn't been at home for more than 15 min when I got the call. I jumped in my hatch and floored it to where he was. By the time I got there they had already caught the guy, and had him pulled over in Buena Park. I was so relieved, but I could tell Andy's adrenaline was through the roof. After talking to the Tustin PD we both hoped in separate squad cars and headed to Buena Park to ID this guy. When we got there, Andy's car was parked in a gas station without a scratch on it. Lucky him. They pulled the Juan guy out of the squad car, and we both ID'd him as the one we saw. This kid was only 19 years old, and now hes going away for Car Jacking, and assault with a deadly weapon.
What started as a bad situation turned out good in the end. After it was all said and done the Juan guy left in a Tustin PD squad car, and we left in Andy's integra. It's been a long night, and it's time for bed. As for Andy, he's just fine but still a little shaken up. I'm sure he will reply sometime tomorrow."
