I'd get it just for the y49 rex but even this toy rex is riced out with "vinyl".
So with that in mind , my opinion of this item is .

Well, since I have 1st gen CRX, I have about 6 of the 1/64 scale early CRX cars and they seperate easy. I have customized mine to look like my 85 CRX. They have a plastic chasis and metal body. Basically just heat up exacto knife and gently cut around the front round press tab to release it. Pry the front end up and slide forward. Usually the back is held just by a notch. Easy to strip and repaint, and change the wheels.

They are fairly cheap cars made in China. They are the only company I know of that made 1/64 scale 4th gen Prelude, so I own a couple of those. If you want quality don't buy them, if you want novelty then go for it.

Well, I wish I had to much time on my hands. After wrangling an angry two year old and fighting with a wife I need something to decompress. Mr Miagi has Bonzai trees, I like Honda replicas to blow off steam. They really don't take long to make. 2 or three minutes every now and then. These are in various stages of completion.

The real toy.

What lights? The headlights are 4x6 crystal Pilot H4 conversions, bumper lights are from a 84-87 Toyota pickup ( they now sell them for early CRXs on ebay), and the corners are the rare Euro clear corners. OEM Honda corners, not aftermarket.
Right now I have a Tamiya Ballade CR-X model kit along with a hood bulge from the Mugen Sports Civic model kit making a replica of my car. I also have a Sapi model of my car, minus the Mugen rims.
My car is "The Original Civic Si"
1985 Civic CR-X Si
DOHC ZC (genuine JDM) engine
ZC hood (The real steel JDM one, not replica)
15" Mugen MR-5 wheels with Toyo tires
JDM DOHC - PGM FI Steering wheel
JDM Digital dash cluster (to be installed this weekend)
JDM digital trip computer
JDM taillights and rear center panel
JDM CR-X and 1.6i-16v badging
JDM PJ1 ECU
Aluminum flywheel and crank pulley
Greddy 92-95 Turbo kit in box awaiting installation
Stainless steel brakelines, Integra hubs, knuckles, Brembo slotted rotors, Axxis pads, stock rear drums going to HF drums
Good interior
Not a show car by any means but a decent hobby car. I love the newer Civics, also had a 93, but driving around hardly seeing any old CR-Xs around and tons of Civics gives me a sense of being different, old school I guess. I'm an oddball.
