am sick of my comptech (i love the sound, but got pulled over by the cops already, want something semi oem looking)


i'll bolt it up to my 2.5" carsounds cat, and 2.5" bpipe...

so if anything has something like this, can i hear it?

the only beef i got with my apexi ws is the weird sound, but it's quiet.

 

The RSR/Invidia (Skunk2) is an N1 style exhaust that is probably louder than your Comptech. It also has a lot bigger tip. If you're worried about the cops hassing you about exhuast, I think the RSR is gonna be more obvious. Great system but louder than Comptech. Comes with silencer..

 

You have custom 2.5" piping b-pipe, and Comptech rear section? Is the Comptech 60 mm piping?

 

Anyone got a pic of the RSR exhaust for a TEG or a link to the pic?? I wanna see how it looks

 

yeah, the comptech piping is a bit smaller

 

I think the Comptech exhaust looks more 'OEM' like doesn't it?

my g/f told me the other day my car sounded like ****, and i have an RS*R exhaust too. im like WTF! hahahaa

 

Thanks guys, and just how quiet is that exhaust compared to some of the quieter aftermarket exhausts out there? And how much does the RsR go for in price?

 

To me, it is literally the same quietness as a OEM exhaust when at idle. It is pleasant on local roads and slightly louder than stock on the interstate. At WOT, it produces a very nice tuned deep bass sound that I absolutely looove. It doesn't sound like a buzz, but rather a tuned sound -- makes my car sound more refined.
