Just wondering if anyone knows of a cheap hotel close to the track. I'm starting to make plans for the finals and need to find a place to stay. Last time i was down there, i think i stayed at a Super 8 or something like that. We're not looking for anything that has hourly rates availible, but we dont need the raddison either.

any ideas?

Don't go too far east in Pomona, especially along Mision Blvd. . There's the Shilo Inn in Diamond bar (about 5 minutes from the track). I think there is a Red Roof Inn in San Dimas, near Golden Eagle Mfg off of Arrow Hwy. That's really close to the track too. There are a few hotels off the 10 Fwy in West Covina. Those are about 10-15 minutes from the track too.

 

i stayed at the red roof inn in ontario last year thats about 20 mins away from the track.

The Sheraton is practically in the same parking lot. Also, as mentioned, the Red Roof inn and Shilo Inn are both close (there's actually 2 shilo's across the street from each other). Also, there's a few hotels in Claremont that are reasonable. Try and stay away from most of the hotels in Pomona, as that part is much more "ghetto". San Dimas would be a much better option, although it's a bit further.

 

Im geting excited I will be makeing the 12hr drive from so oregon for the third year in a row.

hotels mentioned are the recommended ones. If you're not from the area and booking a room in advance is difficult since there are less desirable places you shouldnt be staying at.

Any out of towners thinking of a place to stay, chime in and we'll let you know if its a good spot or not.

Shilo Inn 10 min away and the Sheraton next to the track are the top choices. Enough parking for racers with trailers.

San Dimas or La Verne... do some searches for B&B's in La Verne... there are a few and it's a pretty cool small town... makes you feel like you are in the midwest somewhere...

the Sheraton is the nicest close by... like someone else said on the same land basically...

like everyone has mentioned, i would probably look for a hotel in the next city. i agree with tyler, something in west covina off the 10 freeway. i believe there are a few off the freeway near the mall and several resturants. good luck!

 

pick yourself up a nice girl on holt for about $20 then take her to the claremont inn !

there are alot of good cheap hotels on ARROW HWY off the 57fwy. Golden Eagle MFG is acorss the street tooo.. Look in SAN DIMAS..!! hotels on ARROW hwy. SanDimas is the next city over to POMONA 5 min drive. Very clean very busy very nice with lots of foods and restaurants
