Default VALVE ADJUSTMENT TDC?

hey wasup...i have some questions that i'm curious about because im a noob...anyways, what woud happen if the cams arent set at TDC when you adjust the valves?? Can you fix it by going backwards and putting the cams at TDC and re-adjusting the valves? thanks

you dont have to be at TDC or BDC when adjusting the valves. as long as you are OFF the top of the lobe and on the base circle of the cam lobe then you can set the valve lash to the valve on base circle. then rotate the engine to the next set of vavles on base circle. post up if you still need help, good luck
