what is that long screw on tyc 1 piece headlight

what is that long screw on tyc 1 piece headlight
its like a 4 inch screw coming out of close to the high beam lights. Is it to adjust the high beams? Has anybody ever adjusted it? I just remembered I put it in without playing with it. thanks
