Default new speaker wire in 99 civic coupe

Im trying to run new speaker wires into the front doors
of my 99 civic.
theres a molex type plug on the door side of the rubber
accordian boot the wires go through.
besides drilling my own holes, does anyone
here know a way to get the wire through
this plug without damaging anything?
Ill be running 2 sets of new wire to each side of the car..
so probably a 3/8" hole will be required.

OIC, What I do is pull both ends of the plugs out so I can work on them, then drill out the pin locations that are not being used, some times I will relocate pins, [depending on car] so all the empty locations are together, drill them out and run my wire(s) through the now much bigger hole.
If you want to be ****, as I have been on occasion, I will buy raw pins, [even "open" used ones] and terminate the speaker wire(s) to the pins and place them into the plugs, for the "OEM" look, although if your using "high end" speaker wire, the connections would kind of defeat the purpose. 94

Its going to be a hell of a time pulling out the plugs, but its a solid concept.
Ill give it a shot.

I hate those damn plugs. I'd rather take off the fender and drill new holes

thought of doing that, but it seemed like too much work.
depending on how difficult getting the plug apart is, it
may end up being a viable option.

The plugs will unplug and then the part in the in the door jamb can be "unclipped" from the sheet metal, undo a few wire harness holders pull the door harness end out the speaker hole in the door, the one in the car will be a little harder but it can also be pulled out under the dash enough to work on it, I do it all the time on Honda/Acuras, all it takes is some patients it's not that hard, and definitely easier then removing a fender. 94
