umm...i'm trying to understand. you're removing the radio, but still want your dome light to work? shouldn't work anyway, with or without the radio there?

ok this might just be for civic hx's or whatever other models that have the remote security system built in to the radio but when you remove the radio theres 2 green plugs you have to unplug also those are for the security module once you unplug this the dome light doesnt work nor the keyless entry but my keyless crap never has worked so its no loss to me i just wanted the dome light to still work.

ahh...i understand now. well, did you try to jump them. meaning connect them together. for example, when doing a auto to manual swap, to get the car to turn on and work, you have to connect the 2 thickest wires at the console. doing this tricks the car into thinking the car is parked and then you can start, and take out the key to the car.

maybe it's a similar setup, wouldn't hurt to try.
