I know GM Synchromesh exist, but is the friction modification the same or a different brand? I went to GM Dealership the other day and asked the parts guy for "GM Synchromesh Friction Modification" and he brought me the regulare one. I was like, "uhh do you have the Friction Modification one" and he was like " this is the only one they got."
I hear alot of people on H-T say to use the "FM verson of GM Synchromesh". I am bit confused. Can someone answer my Q?

GM Synchromesh is GM part #12345349, or AC Delco part #10-4006
GM Synchromesh Friction Modified is GM part #12377916, or AC Delco part #10-4014
Most GM dealerships do not stock the Friction Modified formula in inventory, so they have to order it from the distribution center.
