My car is stupid loud and I wanna fix it tomorrow. I have a straight exhaust from the header back w/an OBX Twin Loop...I wanna keep the piping and put a stockish muffler on. Do they make OEM 2.5" baffled mufflers, and would it be a huge bottleneck in my exhaust?

 

Well I got a stockish 2.25" muffler on it...it's basically perfect. I definitely lost some top end, but that's only really beyond 6K which I have very little of anyway. And in any case, that loss is worth the peace of mind I got from the loss of noise, and it doesn't seem to have killed the power. It made a difference though.

 

try a magnaflo muffler, vibrant muffler, es tuning muffler

they all look stockish on the outside when painted hi temp black

throw in a resonator if they are too loud
