Default my JRSC ordeal!

Hi everybody! I decided to purchase a JRSC kit 6 months ago and I had it installed by a mechanic that has completed a TON of jrsc installations. Everything went perfectly but I had this annoying boost drop problem; I was running 9psi (9psi pulley) and at around 6000 rpms the boost would start leaking down to 6psi and then to 4.4 psi at 8000 rpm ([sarcasm]225whp at 4.4psi; woohoO![/sarcasm]).

Obviously the first thing I do is to check all the belts (all very tight) and the pulleys and everything was working perfectly. I take the car back to my mechanic and he also agrees that there is nothing wrong with the external components of the JRSC setup. He uninstalls the jrsc sends the blower to moss and moss confirms that the blower is fine. In addition, he notices a crack in my intake manifold gasket and replaces with a new OEM gasket.

I get the car back and I am at 9psi at 8000 rpms, FINALLY HAPPY! BUT the next day I take it to the dyno and the boost starts dropping again and I am at an awesome 4.4 psi @8000 rpms! All the belts and pulleys are fine...so did my intake manifold gasket develop another crack again?!

What would be the cause of my boost loss?? Thanks for taking time to read this; I am just so exasperated that after all this time and money I put in to try to remedy this problem, I am always back to square one!!!!!!

my setup is

550cc injectors, P28ECU, hondata S200, 9psi jrc, aem intake, kamikaze header, 2.5" exhaust, aem pulleys.....

A supercharger looses it's effeciency higher up in the RPM range. It is the same way with a turbo. A blower won't hold the same boost throughout the RPM range.

But check all your gasket connections, and make sure evrything is tight and there is no slack in the belt.

Yeah, you probably have another gasket leak or a small vaccuum leak somewhere. If you had one cracked gasket, they're all probably pretty old and have a good chance of being cracked....well I guess the JRSC gets rid of a lot of the IM gaskets, but it couldn't hurt to check....
