Default 94 up GSR factory block girdle on 92 GSR B17A?

I just wanted to know if I would have any problems putting a 94 up GSR block girdle on my B17A which is the same block as a B16. I know that I will have to have the oil pan,oil pick up,windage tray& main bolts off of a G3 GSR but is that all? TIA

no there is no need to put a crank gridle on your motor, the gridle was intended for the b18c1/5 because of the lower r/s ratio and high revs. it was adpated to the ls/crv vtecs for the same reason, the b17 and b16 don't need this peice because of their higher almost pefect r/s ratio.

altough if you want to do it......you do need the pan, baffle, pickup, and the 6 longer main bolts, plus you have to machine down the center "leg" of the gridle to fit the b17's main cap.
