Default Comp Ratio

whats a good comprosion ratio to have for an all motor set up? is an 11.8.1 ratio to high?

no thats pretty good. id say anywhere near 12:1 is good for street.

i am running 13.5:1's in my motor right now on 94 pump. soon to be 110 tho

could a to high comp ratio hurt my motor cause i plan on shooting a 50 shot?

high compression isnt really to reasonable for the street when you can only run 92-94 octane itll just hurt you the higher you go, enless you plan on gettting some 55 barrel drums of 110 at that **** will get expensive

11.5-12.5 is usually a pretty good setup

That's what I'm going to be doing, buying a drum of race gas and mixing it 4:1 with 91, to give me around a 95 octane rating. My Civic is not designed to be a daily driver though, so I won't be using alot of race gas.

with this type of comp ratio i shouldn't have to worry about hitting the pistions right? valve to pistion clearence should be good ?
