Default '00 SI rear seats into '00 DX Hatch

I know the SI seats are a 60/40 split, and the hatch are a 50/50 split, and I know the latchs on the SI are different to the hatch, but I just want some advice from those who have done this before.

I also know the bottom part will jump right in with no changes, help me with the bacl

Difficult?

Does it look good?

Other than moving the centre mounting point to accomodate the 60/40 split what else did you have to do custom?

How do I modify the sides so that the back locks into place?
see how the stock ones have latches but the SI ones do not

Pics of these installed?

Then that would look funny in a hatch then... plus the coupe and sedan seats have the hooks on the top, instead of on the sides like hatches

Yes, and the latch where they lock to stay in place are at the top middle. On the hatch they are on the sides.

no 1's done it because si rears dont look all that great
& they look almost exactly like the stock rears

n who wants to do all that fab work to have si rears when there are way better alternatives that will look way better & fit alot better than si's

The bottoms will fit but the tops are too narrow!

They don't fit. Get something that:

A) fits
B) requires little/no modification
C) isn't ugly

Why not upholster your current rear seats to the same or similar pattern as the Si seats so they can match the front?

Why would anyone want '00 Si seats? Not only are they ugly but the front seats are uncomfortable pieces of **** with little to no lateral support.

Indeed. Their front seats are just stock 6th gen seats with a hole in the headrest and a dumbass butt-tilt-****.

Just don't do it, there's no point. The dumbass i bought my hatch from tried the same thing but gave up on the upper part of the seat and left in the lower part. It doesn't even sit right and there's no way to keep it from moving around if you bump it. Oh yea, and the ends are now bowing up. i say CTR rears ftw

THe rear seat from the SI will not fit. The bottom will, but the back will not. Just go buy a set of ITR rear seats. They will look alot better then the SI.
