Check engine light after msd ss coil install
yo guys, i just installed my msd ss coil by itself, no ignition box, and the check engine light comes on after probly 2 or 3 mins of driving.. and stays on. if i turn the car off and turn it back on, same thing.

k i did a search and found out where the service connector is (behind the radio, driver side) but i cannot for the life of me find it ! i can see the 3p connector but not the 2p

The reason that you don't see it is because it is underneath a small carpeted panel that snaps on and off. Look on the passenger's side of the center console, and you will eventually find a place where the carpet isn't flush. Snap that panel off and the service port is under it.

ALRIGHT i got the code and found the connector finaly lol !
anyway. the engine light would flash like this.
1 Long
2 Short
and keep doing that.

did a search and looks like i got a code 12 : EGR valve llift sensor. i don thtink this is related to the msd.. any ideas?
