anyone taken out there headlights out yet? do u have to remove the bumper? and was it hard thank you

Why are you taking out your headlights?

 

i got hid conversion 8000k im going to give it a try

 

if its plug and play kit you wont need to take out your lights....

 

is it the entire headlight aseembly? if so then you have to remove the front bumper , its easy start by removing the front fenders drivesrs n passangers then open hood and start removeing snap on's then you should be able to snap off the bumper , once snaped off just remove headlight screws , take off old 1 put new 1 , i did not unplug my battery ,


ADDED: YOU NEED TO REACH THE BACK OF HEADLIGHT hence why i removed mine... but stick your hand in and turn it 1 way and it should be loose then plug the new ballast set

yes its the plug n play but how do u get the bulb in with out taking out the lights theres no room?

 

was anyone able to change their bulbs with out removing the headlights?

well bulbs yes however hid kit alot of parts need to be run and mounted... so no

 

i installed mine. never took off the bumper, you need small hands!! on the right side youll have to take off the resevoir of coolant...i have an lx if you have a si it might be different.

 

reach through the wheel well. Pull the tabs out and you can reach from there

Yep, right in the owners manual, it says to access through the wheel well. I didn't have to do that on the driver's side though.

 

yea, i just installed mines a week ago. hid 8000k, but install took longer than expected. need small hands to do it....
