Default 1994 shift rpm

i have a stock 94 accord and am wondering what the highest rpm i can shift at without damaging the engine?

Redline is 6.25k rpms but if you rev to that on every shift your engine will not last long.

Yeah 4500 is fine just don't do it on every shift or your gas mileage will suck and people will think your an idiot... keep in mind the f22bx stops making power at around 5500.

Yeah it's governed but even if it wasn't you don't have enough power to redline your final gear.

I'm almost positive that all of the US OBD1 Accords do not have a speed limiter... Drag, and lack of power is why you're not going any faster.

edit: might only be the EX models without them... don't hold me to any of this.

dont no bout your fifth gen but my 4th gen tops out at a buck fifteen wth intake headders high flow cat conv msd ignition and a custom cat back with a turbo flow exhaust it even took out complete ac system sucks limiting it that low cant wait till I get my ecu then turbo install

That's right. Unless you had a modified ECU, camshaft, cam springs and such, the power could be streched to a higher rpm. But that's not the case....
