16g turbo from a EvO on h22? or any turbo
i have a h22 sitting out and i have the whole turbo set up BUT
i dont have a turbo...long story.
I was planning on putting in a 16g evo turbo, will that work...
i mean can i use any kind of turbo? i was looking in to ball bearing turbos to, will
any turbo fit if u try to swap a turbo out?

the mount will be different from turbo to turbo.
don't you think 16g is undersided for 2.2 liter? why waste your money if you planning to swap out for a bigger/better turbo later down the line?
you have to get the new flange and retune the whole set up, it's a waste of money if you ask me

My 16g works great for my F22 [2.2 liter but lower revving than an H]. I have full boost by 3000 RPM and I don't wind out at redline. Although with a higher redline I would reccomend getting something a little larger. Search around the F.I. forum. Sorry I can't be much more help than that.
A 16G can fully support something liek the Talon 2.0L. If you're looking for high HP numbers it's prolly not your best bet, but for a quick spooling turbo it would be pretty fun and inexpensive.
what turbo do you recommend for a h22? the h22 i have is fully rebuilt from top to bottom, its a really strong motor.
Personally I'd just go with something like a T3/T4. They're cheaper and produce some good HP numbers with a decent spool depending on your trim and A/R. A GT28 discoe potatoe is another option but I've heard they'll only support up to around 250 HP.
