Idle question
I have an eight pound flywheel on my b18a1 would this cause idling problems. I already checked timing, fitv, replaced eacv, adjusted screw on top of throttle body and changed fuel pressure. Could it be the flywheel and if it is what can i do? Thanks
With a lightened flywheel you have reduced rotating mass, and it does affect the idle.
You have made the same mistake alot of people do and thought that the screw in the TB is how to adjust the idle, it is not.
If you look at the pivot on the TB linkage you will see a tab cut into it. You have to bend this tab to raise your idle. If I had pic's I would provide them for you.

i have an idle screw and i already adjusted the idle with it but the problem is it high idles when it is cold like it should but then fluctuates after it begins to warm up then it stops when it is warm and idles at 500rpms. It also throws the egr valve cel.
