a few days ago i decided to hit vtec since it's been a few since i last did.
the moment vtec kicked in the CEL came on.
i didn't really feel VTEC kick in at it's usual spot in the low 5000's
instead it kicked in at mid 6000's.
i thought it was weird so i tried it a few more times and same result.
new to preludes/vtec.
please help.

now, (drum roll), something just as basic

put some oil in

 

i did search but a lot of the results had different circumstances such as a built engine nd modified engines.
but thanks i will try that.

my friend at jiffy lube hooked me up with some free full synthetic 5w-20 oil today.
resetted the system and the CEL turned off.
