Default News only R18 owners will love!

Hey,

just the other day i asked if anyone had known anything about a turbo kit for the R18. I cant remember who but someone left a link to 8thcivic saying that someone here in South Florida was looking for an R18 to put one in.

That place was http://www.AJperformance.com

They also came out with the first turbo kit for the Si way before GReddy did. They managed to squeeze 304whp on only 4.5psi.

well now to the good part.

Ive been choosen to test a turbo out on my car. Since i've signed a contract I cannot give out any specifics but what i know as of now is that the kit will be an upgradeable one and it should be released in about 2 - 3 months. Work starts on my car as of October 1st so ill try to keep you posted with as much info as i can.

I know right? **** better hit 13s... they way I see it (and i'm not engineer) the manifold is already created being that its integrated in the had, basically just need an adapter plate that can still house the o2 sensor and bolt up to the turbine...

well, we'll see what their numbers show... with the quality of the k20z3 kit they produce (300+ hp @ 4.5psi) i hope to see promising results

hopefully the rep that post the kit this time will be a little more knowledgable about posting on a board though lol

You better be putting at least 350 at the wheels for that much money even though you aren't payin' for it!

Hello turbo, bye bye warranty.

Hah, sounds good, but remember... being the first company to do something to a car, doesnt make it the best, or most reliable....

350 to the wheels on stock internals and you wont finish a quartermile. itll be able to keep up with or beat srt-4s which to me at least isnt that bad. To my knowledge theyre aiming between 200-225 to the wheels SAFELY.

the Si is only about 155whp stock

Actually most people get 180-190whp dynos from the SI... some have gotten lower, but most of the stock dynos I saw were right around 180.

I dont really like how the company decided to name it "alljapcars." being azn, "jap" is the derogatory term used for japanese people back in the day,(WW2) wouldn't want a company named "allnigcars" "allhonkeycars" just shows how ignorant these poeple are. But i'am still planning on a turbo kit, if the results are promising. I'll prolly just spray paint the decal or remove the sticker, :S

Wholesaler contacts indicate that the people running this company are the same people who were running Moto-C, a banned and evidently scamming former sponsor at Honda-Tech.

I advise caution until they have sorted out their previous issues.

They got adverse attention because they were trying to get an exemption to a buy-in because they had already done it as Moto-C.

they actually have nothing to do with Moto-C. Where that info was obtained i have no idea. i personally saw AND drove their boosted Si. i felt nor saw problems and the car was crazy fast. not to mention it was on 4.5 pounds of boost, not something crazy like 20.

Look at the registered agent and then look at Moto-C's.
