If im going 3 inches or lower on my accord is it even worth it still to get a camber kit? I heard people say no and some say yes. Thanks in advance
I droped mine about 2 inches, I personnaly need to invest in a camber kit for the rear wheels. I'm getting extra tire-wear on the inside of the tires because they're off by about .5
I would think the lower you go the more camber you need, the rear wheels don't have a stock way to align in camber, so a camber kit is required. I'm no expert when it comes to lowered cars, but that's my 2 cents.
that's for a 2000 Accord by the way, I'm not sure about the older or newer.

Thanks. It just that i heard that if you drop too low, that even with a camber kit the results wouldn't even matter. I just don't feel like shoving out 150 dollars for a good kit and not even have it be worth the money. Although someone did tell me once that camber is caused mostly because of my alignment being changed and that if i just align the car it would actually fix the problem without having to buy a camber kit.
the problem with people slamming their car with camber kit is that if you drop it low enough, the camber kit itself will be an headache and a half, it will start hitting stuff, mostly in the front UCA for honda.
the rear can be fixed without much problem, esp those lucky enough to have 5th gen or older accord, which you can apply the washer trick.
that's only so if you have proper/oemish offset rims. if you are running different offset or wider rims(like me with 245 tires) you will run into clearance issue with the fender. but since you ask about camber, i'll save the torment of my fender rolling lecture.
my advice? ask around to see what camber kit fits without banging stuff off, if it's gonna rub, just forget it, it's more headache to deal with
